Elisa Gugliotta obtained her Ph.D. in Arabic Studies in May 2022 at Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Grenoble Alpes. In 2023, the French National University Council (CNU) conferred her the qualification to apply as maître de conférences in sections 15 (Arabic Studies) and 07 (Linguistics). She is an affiliated member of the LIDILEM laboratory of Grenoble (Research axis 1: Description et modélisation linguistique, corpus, TAL – apprentissage profond et annotation de corpus). She completed two post-doctoral research projects, one at the Grenoble Informatics Laboratory (LIG) and the other at the Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale of the CNR in Pisa. Currently, she is working at the LNPL laboratory (Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès), exploring the impact of Syrian Arabic as L1 on French language acquisition.
