Salvatore Ingrassia is a Full Professor of Statistics at the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Catania, Italy. He published several papers, mainly about model-based clustering, computational statistics and neural networks. He has been the President of the Classification and Data Analysis Group (CLADAG) of the Italian Statistical Society. Currently, he is Associate Editor of the journals Advances in Advances in Data Analysis and Classification, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, and Italian Journal of Applied Statistics.
