Ledizioni was among the first publishers to publish in digital format in Italy and to sell electronic readers. Since 2008 we have been pioneers of this publishing format and from 2020 we also offer the possibility of producing and distributing Audiobooks

Why publish an ebook?

Digital advantages

The advantages of digital are many. Not only are ebooks more ecological and economical but they offer various additional features compared to the paper book, such as the possibility of searching the text, copying the file, copying/pasting, having hypertext links within it... etc.

Editorial quality

Publishing a book in digital format, for Ledizioni, does not mean disseminating a product of inferior or "minor" quality. Our digital books receive the same care as paper books as the process is subjected to the same quality standards.

Formats and Protection

We publish ePub and/or PDF files without any restrictions, only with social DRM and digital watermarking systems, however we are also able to offer other content protection systems, such as Adobe DRM.

The possibility of disseminating for free in Open Access

Ledizioni, in agreement with the author, can disseminate its works in Open Access, depositing the works, offered for free consultation through the sites of our network and also in institutional or thematic archives compatible with the OAI-PMH standard.

Ecological and economical

Digital files, compared to paper books, are more environmentally friendly because they do not use paper and because they do not require transport and obviously involve significantly lower production and distribution costs.

AudioBooks or Talking Books

LEDIZIONI can have the book interpreted by readers and actors who give life to the words of the book with their voices, adding a form of enjoyment that combines words, sensations and emotions.
