Filippo Oncini is Marie Curie Fellow in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Manchester with a project on food support provision and food poverty. He obtained his PhD at the University of Trento in 2018 with a project on school meals, food preferences and social inequalities. His research interests include cultural stratification, health inequalities, urban poverty and mixed methods research, and his works have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Poetics, Sociology, and Sociology of Health and Illness.
